SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS

Affects mostly women in their forties. Their skin becomes hard, particularly the fingers, the arm, the feet and the low neckline. The face of the patients becomes stilted and the opening of the mouth reduced. Raynaud’s phenomenon, esophageal and pulmonary involvements are frequent. The cardiac and renal manifestations have a bad prognosis .
